Simon Burder set up his stone lithography studio at Oaks Park, in the London Borough of Sutton, in the mid 1990’s.  To encourage a wider appreciation of stone lithography, several times a year he offers short courses for small groups of artists, which are suitable for those with or without previous experience of printmaking.  He also welcomes enquiries from artists who wish to produce editions of their own lithographs.  Artists have visited the studio to work with Simon from many parts of the UK and from France, India and Japan.  Clients have included the British Library and the V & A Museum.  The studio is one of a group managed by Acme Studios in converted stable buildings on the former estate of the Earl of Derby, now an attractive public park.  It is equipped with two direct presses for stone lithography and stones of various sizes up to approximately 56×76 cm.  Intaglio and lino printing are also available.
