Forum – Opportunities for Print People

with 10 comments

This is the place to share information on all kinds of opportunities for printmaking shops and printmakers: grant and sponsorship opportunities, customer leads, sales promotion ideas, joint initiatives, international symposiums or congresses, and any other opportunities that print people would appreciate knowing about. If you’re looking for an opportunity, you can also post your requirements here.

  1. Exchange Partners in Print Media is an Austrlain print makers non profit organisation. We specialize in artists edition exchanges, Which is based on a edition size of 25 or more sent and collated returning an edition to each artist who participates in annual years of Exchange. In 2008 EPPM are not producing a exchange portfolio. In stead we are asking for artists to send one 56 x 76 cm print in any medium to use for a group solander print collection box. We are hoping to collect 50 or more works which will be shown to a varies print groups in Austrlai and UK in 2009. More details will be on our web site after Oct 2008 for interested artists. There will be no fees but artists will have to sign an agreement send us a cv and statement of the work etc. The collection of works will be selected from the interested artists who apply. 3. The Saatchi Gallery (London) (http://www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk) has an online version which has a tremendous following on the Internet (more than 60 million hits a day). They have a section called “Grants and Funding for Artists, Plus Prizes and Calls for Entry” with hundreds (thousands?) of listings of opportunities for artists of all kinds. It’s definitely worth a look in, here: http://www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk/blogon/GrantsAndPrizes.php. If you’re not familiar with Saatchi’s online gallery, I think you will be impressed with its other free features and services, as well.
